Portugal

The trip is over. I did not bring any trinkets home, so nobody expect any silver spoons with the country of portugal carved on it or any T-shirts. It is said that pictures say a thousand words, so I brought a few of those home. Enjoy! I hope this will take you out of your county and into a country that is rich in beauty, history and friendly people.

No, Robby, they're not just great, they're fabulous, fantastic, wonderful, inspiring, lifting... Absolutely God-given talent there, girl! I love the old lady on the balcony! It has a bit of a Joar-look, I think. ;) (And that's of course a compliment!)

The old lady on the balcony is a good one! Hm... not sure about Maggi's comment! Maybe my pictures have a bit of Ceri-look? I have two other favorites though:

The one with the painter shot from behind. It tells a story in itself.

The one shot in what looks like a park, with long shadows and great light. Amazing :-) Photography is all about drawing with light...

Maggi you are way too kind!

Joar - I am just learning how to see light, I don't think most people look at it like they should.

Ceri your pictures of Portugal have brought a little home to me but, I think it has more made me want to bring myself to it! lol I LOVED the picture of the houses on the hill with the one yellow house. But then, I'm biased to yellow. :)
And the painter... *sigh* I could so be him right now. I was just telling my dad the other day that perhaps I just need to take my paints or pastels out onto WWU lawn and paint there. Not portugal but, it's something outside! :)
